# Six Islands

Having described Jambudvipa, Sukadeva Goswami next described the other six islands that make up Bhu-mandala. The first five of these islands have seven *varsas*, while the final island (Puskaradvipa) has two *varsas*. Jambudvipa, described previously, has nine *varsas*. The original rulers of these *dvipas* were the sons of Priyavrata, and the islands were named after them. At the periphery of Bhu-mandala are the famous Lokaloka mountain ranges.

Sukadeva Goswami thus described the entire structure of Bhu-Mandala.
