# V - Varahadeva (13-19)

*When Svayambhuva Manu prayed for the earth to be rescued from the Garbhodaka Ocean, the Lord appeared in the unique form of the Lord Boar, Varahadeva, and lifted it out. The Lord repeatedly appears, millennium after millennium, assuming a variety of extraordinary forms to save His devotees and perform unique pastimes.*
