# Stories in Vrindavana

Being thus questioned, Uddhava’s feelings of separation were aroused as he remembered his beloved Lord Krishna whom he had served throughout his life. Now Krishna had left the planet, extreme misfortune would overcome the world. Instead of dwelling on His disappearance, however, Uddhava related the sweet story of Krishna’s appearance, His playful antics in the land of Vrindavana and the celebrated lifting of Govardhana hill.
